As we begin a new series highlighting noteworthy venues and destinations throughout North America, we thought it was only right to begin in the Northeast where ORO is headquartered … Boston aka Beantown!

Just north of downtown and gracing the harbor skyline in June 2019, Encore Boston Harbor is an exquisite hotel, casino and event space known for its 50,000 square feet of indoor space, prime for those larger events or socially distanced meetings. Even better, is the additional 21,000 square feet of exceptional waterfront lawns, gardens and picturesque gazebo for indoor/outdoor weddings and social events which we know everyone is opting for these days!  

In the heart of downtown and the thriving Seaport District lies The Exchange. This multi-purpose venue features dramatic architecture, high ceilings and panoramic harbor views! With floor-to-ceiling windows and numerous event spaces, this venue is sure to please any bride, corporate client and gala attendee. The photo opportunities alone will make any event a standout on social media.

Out of the Box:
Just outside of the city, located in Peabody, sits a “historic theater turned 21st Century venue” in OLIO. What was once the Peabody Theater constructed in 1912 is now a modern, industrial event space which can be rented hourly, for the weekend, a full week or even a month. This venue can host an array of evens such as eclectic weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate meetings and parties, non-profit fundraisers and galas (at a discount), and is ideal for custom photo shoots! While they are actively booking large events through 2022, they are also offering ceremony/elopement packages for wedding parties up to 25 guests at a fantastic price!
