We have come to the end of our 3-part planning series, WWOD. Once you’ve done the appropriate trend research and regrouped with your key partners and associations, you want to be prepared to operate the event! Which leads us to our final step:

Create a Contract Workforce:

Unfortunately, many within the industry had to make some extremely hard decisions over the past few months and therefore, may not have the luxury of being fully staffed come event season! Begin curating your list of trusted event professionals that you’d love to have by your side on event day. This group could consist of past employees or even service staff within the industry looking for additional income and experience. As well, what paperwork or insurance may be required for such staff, especially if they are only temporary or seasonal? Should you need additional resources, we advise reaching out to your community via LinkedIn or another social platform, as we know our industry is very connected and has enormous reach.

Once you have the right people in place, you can begin adjusting the way you disseminate the information to these staff. It is not always applicable that they have as much event information as you, therefore, you may need to put some additional thought into what information is best.
